Mire women development Centre (MWDC) is a Registered Community Based Women organization located in kajwenge and branch in kisinga town council, Bukonzo, kasese district, Uganda.
The group was found by in the year 2020 by 6 women rights activist to promote women empowerment, raise the awareness of women ,young girls, and the public on women’s roles and other women’s related issues and peace building and to foster community development in the area.
To empower the rural women in Kasese District through Education and engaging them in income generating projects for poverty alleviation in their homestead and uplifting their starndards of living for a health women communities.
MWDC envisaged a knowledgable and stilled women community in Kasese through Education that is able to pass ideas and influence deceisions for women development
To unit and involve the rural women in activities that will uplift their standards of living and creating a
community free of violence among women for sustainable development.
We empower women to be architechs of their own future by bridging a gap between human rights and high value agriculture.
We belive that sustainable development is impossible without the full protection of women’s rights and their equal access to land, resurces and decision making power.
We commit to regenerative practices that heal the soil. Through greenhouse innovationand agroforestry, we protect our natural ecosystems for future generations.
We empower communities to build diverse income streams and food systems that can withstand economic and climae shocks.
We beleive in “growing the whole person” Our success is measured not just by the harvest in the garden, but by the health, safety, and diginity of the women who tend it.
We combine traditional wisdom with mordern agricultural technology to maximize yields while yields while maintaining ethical standards in how we treat people and the earth.
We support one another to reinforce each other’s competencies towards achieving MWDC’s Vision and Mission.
